Garden State Federal Credit Union is a unique financial institution. We are a not-for-profit and member-owned cooperative. Unlike banks that are profit-driven, we return excess earnings to our members in the form of lower interest rates for loans, higher yield savings and investment accounts, free or low fee money management services, and outstanding personal service.
Garden State Federal Credit Union was founded in 1960 as The Camden District Telephone Federal Credit Union. Today we serve over 4,400 members from 37 Member Groups and 9 select cities and towns. Our Member Groups include companies and organizations that provide Garden State membership as a no-cost benefit. You can become a member when:
Garden State Federal Credit Union was founded in 1960 as The Camden District Telephone Federal Credit Union. We later changed our name to reflect our expanded membership. Today we serve over 4,400 members from 37 Member Groups and 9 select cities and towns.
We currently have a branch located in Moorestown, New Jersey. The New Jersey cities and towns we also serve include Audubon Park, City of Camden, Collingswood, Gloucester City, Haddon (Haddon Twp), Mount Ephraim, Palmyra, Pennsauken, and Woodlynne.

Garden State FCU is regulated by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), an agency of the federal government. Member deposit accounts are federally insured for up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF).
