Did You Get A Substantial Tax Refund Last Year?

Put your money to work for you instead of letting the government use it interest-free for 12-17 months. Simply increase the number of deductions you claim on your W-2 or W-4 form. Match your actual tax liability with your tax withholding and put the difference between what you paid last year and the new amount into your credit union Share or Money Market Account.

How Fast Do You Want Your Tax Refund?

When you choose to receive your tax refund as a paper check, the IRS says you can expect to wait from four to seven weeks to get your money. A safer and faster solution is to use Direct Deposit. It electronically transfers your refund into your credit union Checking or Savings Account in as little as seven days. Even better, it’s easy to sign up and there’s no cost to you.

How Direct Deposit Works

When you use Form 1040, 1040A or 1040-EZ, simply enter the Garden State Routing and Transfer Number on your tax form: number 231278083. Then choose either your Checking or Savings Account and enter the appropriate account number with no dashes or spaces. It’s that easy.

You can also use Direct Deposit for other one-time or recurring payments, including Social Security or pension checks. If you have any questions, call or stop by the credit union.
